Hello friends,
How is your week shaping up so far? It was so dark this morning, I had to double-check the time to make sure it was really time to get up. All that will change at the weekend though as our clocks fall back on Sunday morning.
today’s journal page . . .
Today’s spread is all black and white as I had this black painted page in my October journal and I wanted to do something with it, so I started with a giant moon and it went on from there.
I was so tempted to add colour to this page but managed to resist. I used some lyrics from this song called Carpe Noctem (seize the night) which adds to the spooky feel of the page.
Still burning my Pumpkin Spice candle but it’s getting a bit low so I will have to make another one soon. A very simple page today, just black and white paint/paint pens – very limited supplies!
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

So effective with the white pen on black, love the rhyming words, great amongst the moon Elle. Hugs Tracey x
This is brilliant. I love how the white pops against the black background. It may be a simple spread, but it certainly took a lot of skill to get those letters on there perfectly. Thanks for sharing it with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey’s theme.
I love the black and white of this page and The Moon lyrics fits it perfectly! Another gorgeous page today!

Nice use of white on black. A black background really creates so much atmosphere, doesn’t it? Thanks for sharing this with us at AJJ. It is perfect for Tracey’s challenge. Hugs-Erika
