Hello friends,
I’m back with my second page for today as I am trying to finish all 31 pages for my Halloween journal.
today’s journal page . . .
Today’s spread is inspired by these (old) alcohol-inked backgrounds that I made back in 2019 for some cards but had some left over. I made them using alcohol ink, surgical spirit and some homemade stamps made from craft foam and Sizzix ghost dies.
I recently turned one of them into a Spooky tag, but thought I would turn these two into a Halloween spread in my journal. I adhered them in my journal and then used black fluid acrylic to paint around the edges of both pages.
I used these Tim Holtz cardboard words (can’t remember what they’re called) on both pages
Perhaps they look like they did come from regions beyond?
I finished off the page by adding some white stripes around the outside of both pages.

These ghosts are rather scary and spooky. Very clever use of the AIs, too. Of course, I love the handmade stamps and the ghosts, too. This is another great page for Art Journal Journey using Tracey’s theme.
