Welcome to this month’s wrap up!
Here’s everything I’ve managed to achieve this month all in one place . . .
So that was December . . .
Wow! Why does this month go by so fast? One minute you have all the time in the world to work on your Christmas/Holiday cards and makes and the next minute it’s Christmas Eve and you are freaking out! I have always thought it strange when people start working on Christmas cards in August but I’m guessing those people are sitting back sipping eggnog on Christmas Eve and not making themselves crazy trying to get everything done! Maybe I will try it next year, but honestly I am just not in the that Christmas frame of mind in August and also a lot of the new Christmas product releases are not out until September, so I could make a bunch of cards and then see a new release stamp set and really want to use that in my cards. Who knows, we’ll see how I feel next summer!
As winter months go, it has not been too terrible (no snow!) and there is still no heating in the house but it’s bearable. Who knew? I really don’t like being cold but I am tolerating it quite well, and I’m really not that cold except for my fingers – and that is a bit of a problem considering I need them to be functioning for my art!
So this month, I made all my Christmas cards, and gifts, and DT projects for December and I did a lot of work for MTW for 2020 as I wanted to make sure everything was done before the end of the year even though I don’t officially start until January. One thing I did not achieve was moving on to Level 2 of AECP. I was so good about getting everything done to finish Level 1 before the end of October which I thought would give me plenty of time to finish Level 2 before Christmas. I sat down, I watched all the classes, took all the notes, and then ran out of time to get anything done that wasn’t Christmas related! Everything I made was of a festive nature, and I really didn’t want all of Level 2 to be Christmas themed! I also really feel the need to break out of Christmas mode and get on to something new and different, so that’s what I want to be doing next month/year ie tomorrow!
