Hello friends,
Hope your weekend is going well so far. The weather outside is perfect for staying indoors and doing something fun, so I have had some time in the studio and have more pages completed in my book.
today’s journal page . . .
Today’s spread is inspired by another Life Book Taster Session, this time it’s the Day 12 Taster by Shem Dixon. It started off by writing some I AM statements to use on the page. There is collage under that paint and also some fabric leftovers from various Halloween projects, and then some texture paste stencilling on top of that.
Unfortunately I managed to completely cover up all of my IAM statements LOL and so by the end of the session I had none left! I was able to find some of the words I used in sticker form and stuck them on at the end.
Then I added some more fabric pieces, some sari silk, some lace, and some threads, and some white gesso on top and this is how the page ended up…
Let me know what you think in the comments. As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

I was by earlier and got an error when I tried to publish my comment. I’m glad it took this time.
This turned out great, Elle. I adore the various colors, textures, and stencil you used. I like how you took us through the process, too. Thanks for sharing this with us at Art Journal Journey using Tracey’s theme.
Very cool with all the texture and bits. This seriously makes me want to stay home today and make something like it. Very cool!!
Great textures and colors Elle. You used a nice variety of those textures too. Thanks for sharing with us at AJJ. Happy new week!
