Hello friends,

I have been rushing around all day today trying to get things made, things wrapped and then posted so my art offering for today is related to that and is also a quick and easy post.

today’s art . . .

Today’s art is my Day 19 offering for Art Every Day Month and it is this Christmas mail art…

I did some proper stamping today, don’t feel like I’ve done much lately, even got out the stamp platform since I was doing multiple envelopes.  I used this Warm Breeze ink pad from Versafine which is one of my favourites as it shows up really well against the kraft.  The stamps are from Tim Holtz, the Stamptember limited release from last year and then last year’s Christmas release which featured the same Snarky Cats but in different predicaments.  Then I drew on some snowflakes with a white pen and then wrote out the names of the recipients in a bit of shaky script as my hand was cramping up.

Here’s a close up of the text, there is a stamp that goes with this sentiment about the tree, and it is a cat tangled up in tree lights, but I didn’t want to use that one on the envelopes.

On the back of the envelopes I stamped my Empire of the Cat logo stamp I made hmm, last year maybe or maybe the year before.  Last year seemed neverending so who knows!  That’s it for today, I will be back tomorrow with some gift wrap and tags I made last night!  If you missed any November AEDM posts so far – check them out in the slider below.

Let me know what you think in the comments.   As always, thanks for reading!Ingredients

Fun envelopes Elle. Those TH kitties work perfect for the Empire of the Cat. Happy weekend. Hugs-Erika

I love the cat’s expression, and your hand-carved stamp is fabulous!

That cat is so cute, but your hand carved stamp is out of this world, Elle. I wish I had your talent.
